The Catskill
Mountain Crafts initiative aims to make the Catskill Mountain Region the
premiere destination in the northeast for arts, crafts and cultural tourism. By attracting visitors to the area and
creating economic development opportunities in our communities, we hope to
support local artists, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, small business owners,
non-profit arts organizations, local tourism attractions and the individuals
who choose to live in our rural mountain towns and villages. We support
efforts to find environmentally sound economic development opportunities
within the watershed region and enhance the quality of life in the Catskill
Mountains. |
